These terms govern your use of ironcladscope.com and the IroncladScope messaging, quoting, and scheduling service operated by Ironclad Scope LLC ("IroncladScope," "we"). By using the site, texting a number we operate, or opening a quote link, you accept them. Contact: founders@ironcladscope.com.
IroncladScope operates an AI-assisted messaging service on behalf of independent contractors. When you text a contractor's published number, or receive a text back after calling and reaching no answer, you are communicating with the contractor through our service. The contractor, not IroncladScope, performs the work, sets the prices in their price book, and is your counterparty for any job.
Prices delivered through the service come from the contractor's own price book and describe a stated scope of work, with inclusions, exclusions, and conditions listed on the quote. A quote labeled provisional becomes final when the contractor confirms it, and every quote carries an expiration date. A quote is an estimate for the described scope, not a contract for work: your agreement for any job is with the contractor, on the confirmed scope and price. If the conditions stated on a quote turn out not to hold at the property, the scope and price are revised as the conditions describe.
By texting our numbers you consent to receive conversational messages about your service request. Message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out and HELP for assistance. We honor quiet hours and process opt-out requests expressed in any reasonable way. Our privacy policy at /privacy describes what we collect and how we use it, including that no mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Quote and scheduling links are personal to your service request. Do not share them. Links expire and can be reissued by replying in the same conversation.
Do not use the service to send unlawful, abusive, or deceptive content, to attempt to access other customers' or contractors' information, or to interfere with the service's operation.
The service is provided as is. IroncladScope is not a contractor, does not perform the work, and does not guarantee the contractor's performance. To the fullest extent permitted by law, IroncladScope's total liability arising out of the service is limited to the greater of one hundred dollars or the amount the contractor paid us for the service in the month the claim arose, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
A contractor's use of the platform is governed by their service agreement with us. Aggregated, anonymized data derived from use of the platform may be used to improve the service, as disclosed in that agreement, with an opt-out available.
We will post updates to these terms on this page with a new effective date. These terms are governed by the laws of North Carolina.
